The latest KOBC Container Composite Index (KCCI) quoted 3,920 points on Monday, according to Korea Ocean Business Corp. (KOBC). Spot rates for container exports from Busan increased on all trade lanes but that to China, picking up the index 4.62% from a week earlier to a shy of 4,000 points.

On the main lanes, the individual KCCIs were up 4.19% to 5,969 points to the U.S. West Coast, up 5.64% to 7,217 points to the U.S. East Coast, up 3.37% to 4,720 points to Europe, and up 1.87% to 5,876 points to the Mediterranean.

On the non-main lanes, the KCCIs were up 1.53% to 6,783 points to the Middle East, up 10.06% to 3,096 points to Australia, up 7.3% to 7,854 points to the east coast of Latin America, up 8.55% to 5,840 points to the west coast of Latin America, up 2.62% to 3,483 points to Southern Africa, and up 4.26% to 5,260 points to West Africa.

In the intra-Asia waters, the KCCIs were up 3.74% to 222 points to Japan, up 0.18% to 1,098 points to Southeast Asia, and unchanged at 54 points to China.
