Malaysia's Ministry of Health has announced that it will remove Fukushima from the affected prefectures effective from March 1, 2013 and the requirement for declaration of the competent authorities in Japan for all food imported from Japan.
Even so, food products from Japan will be continually monitored for radioactive materials, the ministry added.
