Member lines of the Asia - West Coast South America Freight Conference have announced a rate restoration program of USD500/TEU effective August 15, 2012 in the trades from Asia to West Coast South America （WCSA）, Mexico and West Coast Central America （WCCA）.
Asia to Caribbean Trade Agreement （ACTA） lines also have released a notice to shippers seeking their understanding on the planned rate restoration program at the following level effective August, 15, 2012:-
1） to Venezuela/Trinidad and Tobago : USD840/20' and USD1200/40'
2） to other Caribbean destinations : USD560/20' and USD800/40'
