A total of 334 factories had resumed full operations by May 25, 2012, according to the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT).

In Thailand, 839 manufacturing facilities were devastated by the floods that hit the Southeast Asian country from October to December 2011.

Meanwhile, 292 had regained partial operations, while 62 had been either closed or relocated.

As for those that have not resumed operations yet, 51 hope to go back in business in the third quarter of 2012, 25 in the fourth quarter and five in the first quarter of 2013.
