Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) will embargo all export / import marine containers conveying perishable traffic effective 1700hrs local time on Friday the 17th of December 2010 through 0001hrs local time on Monday the 27th of December 2010.
This embargo does not include refrigerated shipments moving with shipper-supplied nose mount clip-ons which move at shipper's own risk.
Canadian train operations will shutdown at approximately 1800 on Friday, December 24 and resume at 0800 on Sunday, December 26. U.S. train operations will shutdown at approximately noon on Friday, December 24 and resume at 0800 on Sunday, December 26. Train operations will run on reduced service though the New Year's holiday, based on volumes.
