Transnet, South Africa's largest transport group, said more than 65 percent of its employees have returned to work, but SATAWU, its another union which represents 35 percent of the employees, went into the ninth day of strike on Tuesday. The transport strike is threatening to involve workers in such other industrial sectors as truck drivers, airline workers, and employees of the state-owned power utility.
