Member Lines serving within the Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) have adopted a recommendation to apply the Reefer Japan THC (both import and export) of JPY34,000 per TEU and JPY48,000 per FEU, with effect from August 1, 2010.
The IADA also recommended its members to provide current and two following months advance notice period prior to implementation so as not to unduly impair users' interests as a result of the THC implementation.
