The latest KOBC Container Composite Index (KCCI) quoted 2,131 points on Monday, Korea Ocean Business Corp. (KOBC) announced on the same day. The index fell 3.09% from a week earlier as spot rates for container exports from Busan decreased on the trades to the U.S., Europe and elsewhere.

On the main lanes, the individual KCCIs slid 1.69% to $2,090 per FEU to the U.S. West Coast, 6.57% to $3,412 per FEU to the U.S. East Coast, 1.9% to $3,349 per FEU to Europe and 4.53% to $3,392 per FEU to the Mediterranean.

On the non-main lanes, the KCCIs picked up 9.85% to $2,108 per FEU to Australia, 4.8% to $2,772 per FEU to the west coast of Latin America and 3.44% to $3,822 per FEU to Southern Africa. In contrast, the indices waned 4.98% to $2,482 per FEU to the Middle East, 10.92% to $5,245 per FEU to the east coast of Latin America and 1.06% to $4,668 per FEU to West Africa.

Within Asia, the KCCIs improved 2% to $51 per FEU to South Korea but declined 3.96% to $994 per FEU to Southeast Asia and 6.25% to $210 per FEU to Japan.
