25.07.09CONPAS to Allow Shipping Companies to Directly Make Bookings for Loaded Export Containers Delivered to Hanshin Port

Container Fast Pass (CONPAS), a port information system developed and operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), will allow container shipping companies to make bookings for loaded export containers delivered to Hanshin Port from next Monday.

Presently, container shipping companies need to make such bookings through shipping agents, but from next week, they will be able to do so by themselves.

At Hanshin Port, where CONPAS has been operated by the MLIT’s Kinki Regional Development Bureau, Kobe-Osaka International Port Corp.; and partners since 2024, container shipping companies are already allowed to directly make bookings for loaded import containers to be delivered from Hanshin Port.
