The Japan Harbor Transportation Association (Nikkokyo) approved all proposals for fiscal 2025 at its 63rd annual general assembly convened yesterday at the Palace Hotel Tokyo. They include a plan to give guidance and support to stabilize and streamline the port transport business and upgrade port transport services.
Also included are policies for enhancing the global competitiveness of ports and harbors and stabilizing port and harbor labor. Business activities needed to accomplish objectives, a business report for fiscal 2024, financial documents, a budget for fiscal 2025 and membership fee sharing were also approved.
