The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan has unveiled some details of the upgrading of Cyber Port into Version 2 scheduled for October at the following URL: https://swagger.cyber-port.net/swagger/index.html.

The MLIT platform for trade and logistics digital transformation will be enhanced to meet requests from business operators and to respond to the reinforcement of the Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System (NACCS) into Version 7, which is also slated for October.

Last Friday, the MLIT released information on transaction, document and various master application programming interfaces (APIs), while the API for linking Cyber Port with NACCS (document items accommodating NACCS Version 7) is to be announced this month or later.

For greater convenience, Cyber Port’s Version 2 will more smoothly connect data from Cyber Port documents to NACCS documents and vice versa and optimize items that share data between documents.

The MLIT will introduce an environment for testing this month and release the new version of Cyber Port when NACCS is upgraded in October.
