An international feeder service route has been established to and from the Port of Kamaishi as the Koryu Maru, a domestic vessel run by Yokohama Container Line, called the port earlier this month.
The Port of Kamaishi in Iwate Prefecture in northern Japan will now accommodate a total of three liner container services-one oceangoing and two feeder services.
To commemorate the call of the Koryu Maru and the establishment of the route, Kamaishi held a ceremony, attended by individuals from shipping lines, ports and elsewhere.
