Workers at the U.K. port of Felixstowe will go ahead with an eight-day strike after labor-management negotiations between Unite the Union and Felixstowe Dock and Rail broke down on Tuesday. Shipping companies are urged to plan rescheduling to allow ships to enter the port and unload shipments before the strike, while transporters are required to deliver containers out of the port.
