The Port of Virginia handled an all-time high of 340,119 TEUs of containers in May, which grew 8% from a year earlier and broke the previous monthly record set in December 2021. Loaded imports hiked 15.2% to 166,918 TEUs, but loaded exports shrank 2% to 97,760 TEUs.
