The Philippine National Police (PNP) has ordered the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) to strictly implement the 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew in Metro Manila once the two-week enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) took effect on Aug. 6 in a bid to prevent the spread of the Delta variant of Covid-19.
Port operator Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) has said that its facilities in Manila South Harbor, Batangas and Batangas Container Terminal are business as usual to ensure the unimpeded flow of goods in the supply-chain. ATI also added that the company will follow local and international Covid-19 industrial health and safety protocols.
