Saigon Newport Corporation has unveiled that it would suspend accepting import and export shipments to/from Tan Cang Cat Lai Port in Ho Chi Minh City from August 5 through 8. Refrigerated goods transhipment will be temporarily stopped until August 16.
According to Saigon Newport Corporation, the number of imported containers in stock at Cat Lai port is increasing rapidly and had reached 100 percent of its capacity because many factories and enterprises reduce production or stop operating because of the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic.
