According to the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), November cargo throughput at the port of Singapore fell 5.6% from the same period in 2019 to 49.419 million tons. Container throughput contracted 4.1% on year to 3.13 million TEUs.
For the first 11 months, cargo volumes waned 5.7% from the same period last year to 540.42 million tons. Box traffic for the period edged down 1.1% from a year earlier to 33.61 million TEUs.
