The Shanghai Containerized Freight Comprehensive Index (SCFI) fell slightly by 0.4% to 1438.22 last week.
Spot rates on the Shanghai - North Europe trade declined by 1.6% from the previous week to $1,149 per TEU while rates on the Shanghai - Mediterranean route registered a smaller decrease of 0.7% to $1,202 per TEU.
On the transpacific trade, Shanghai - U.S. West Coast rates dipped 0.4% to $3,848 per FEU, while Shanghai - U.S. East Coast rates remained unchanged at $4,622 per FEU.
