Cambodia joined the live implementation of the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) to exchange Form Ds electronically on July 1, 2019.

Cambodia's Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) launched the National Single Window (NSW) aiming to facilitate import and export activities and began exchanging Form Ds electronically on July 1, 2019.

The NSW is a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents with a single entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. Authorized organizations are allowed to register for information submitted electronically and individual data elements will only be submitted once. An overriding objective of the Single Window is to strengthen government – to – government, government - to – business and business – to – business inter-relationships.

MEF's General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) manages the planning, development and implementation of the NSW in accordance with the implementation plan of the ASEAN Economic Community 2015, and the ASEAN Single Window.

ASW has been connected between five member countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam through the exchange of certificate of origin form D by electronic version (Form D) since January 1, 2018.
