The British Columbia Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) and the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Canada reached a tentative agreement on Thursday May 30, withdrawing BCMEA's lockout of workers which started at 0800 on the day.

Effective immediately, the lockout in the all B.C. ports including Vancouver and Prince Rupert, has been lifted and operations have returned to normal from the 1630 shift Thursday.
