India's Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance is mulling over integrating its e-way bill system with the National Highway Authority of India's FASTag scheme and Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation's Logistics Data Bank (LDB) services to enable quick and easy movement of goods across the nation as well as checking the evasion of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

FASTag is an electronic toll collection system which uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and LDB is a single window digital visibility solution for the inland movement of goods.

E-way bill is required for inter-state movement of goods with a value exceeding Rs 50,000 under the GST scheme and introduced in April 2018.
