China Railway Express (CRE), an international rail container service between China and Europe, had operated a total of 11,000 trains by the end of October. Linking 45 cities in China with 15 European and 11 other Asian economies, the service, a central policy that Beijing is advancing as part of its One Belt, One Road Initiative, had moved 920,000 TEUs in total. It is expected that 5,000 trains will be run this year.
