The Customs Department of Thailand is strengthened its inspection on illegal imports of electronic and plastic waste as importing quantities of such waste have been increasing rapidly after China had prohibited 24 types of scraps from entering its borders in January 2018.
The customs authority is checking incoming containers for smuggled plastic and electronic waste or to see whether licensed recycling plants are importing or not.
