The Phnom Penh Autonomous Port handled 45,831 TEUs in the first quarter of the year, up 16% compared to 39,510 TEUs in the same period last year. Import containers totaled 21,134 TEUs while export boxes amounted to 24,697 TEUs.
Container throughput at the port in 2017 soared 22% from a year before to 184,895 TEUs and its revenue rose 14% year on year to US$751.1 million.
