Myanmar's Customs Department has announced that the Myanmar Automatic Cargo Clearance System (MACCS) will be implemented at the Myawaddy Border Gate located on Myanmar-Thai border from March 2018 as a pilot project to accelerate the flow of trade at the country’s second largest trade city in the nation. It will go full-fledged operation from June 2018.
