IATA has unveiled plans to launch CEIV Live Animals, the certification for live animal transport, and will also begin to investigate the possibility of a scheme for perishables. This follows CEIV Pharma launched in 2014.
The association would develop pilot projects in conjunction with industry participants next year.
IATA would also start investigation on the possibility of a CEIV Fresh jointly with the industry.
