The General Customs Authority in Saudi Arabia has announced that effective from September 21, 2017, the duration of goods left at the customs outlets will be reduced to 15 days for perishable goods (such as food stuffs, medicine, etc) and 30 days for other goods from the date of unloading. If owners did not claim them, the goods will terminate their clearance procedures.

Due to the continuous increase in the volume of goods received and the need to unload the yards of unclaimed goods, this measure comes in response to speed up the completion of customs procedures and the flow of imports.
