Since June 17, the Philippine Bureau of Customs (BOC) has shifted to full-fledge operation of its e-airfreight manifest submission which requires stakeholders in the industry to file air waybills (AWB) / house air waybills (HAWB) on arrival of the aircraft if the shipment is loaded in Asia and four hours before aircraft arrival if the shipment is loaded in other than Asia.
The full-fledged implementation involves penalties of PHP10,000 (approximately US$200) on delayed submission of manifests.
