The Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) has recommended its members to implement rate restorations as follows:
- US$50 per TEU for cargo from Vietnam to all northbound destinations including Japan, effective April 8, 2017
- US$50 per TEU for cargo from Thailand to all northbound destinations including Japan, effective April 8, 2017
- US$50 per TEU for cargo from China to all intra-Asia destinations including Japan, effective April 15, 2017
IADA members are fee to voluntarily follow the recommendation on an individual basis or take independent policy through individual negotiation with their customers.
