Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) handled 4,491,514 TEUs during the fiscal year of 2015-16. The figure represents a slight 0.6% over the previous year.
Out of the total traffic, the share of JNPCT was 1.429 million TEUs, (up 10.5%), the share of Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal (NSICT) operated by DP World was 999,680 million TEUs, down 13.8% from the previous year, and the largest volume of 1,860,283 TEUs, down 7.6% on year, were contributed by APM Terminals’ Gateway Terminals India (GTI).
