The port of Laem Chabang in Thailand set records in container throughput again in 2015, handling 6,821,335 TEUs, up 3.6% against 6,583,165 TEUs for 2014, while the flagship port Bangkok suffered a 8% decline in box traffic, from the previous year's 1,536,106 TEUs to 1,413,282 TEUs in 2015.
