Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) container terminals collectively handled 4,477,496 TEUs in calendar year 2015 beating the old record of 4,473,020 TEUs registered in 2006.
Jawaharlal Nehru Port Container Terminal (JNPCT), its own container terminal with state of art facilities, handled 1.37 million TTEUs, up 3.6% from the previous year while DP World, which operates two terminals, jointly handled 1.20 million TEUs, up 3.4% year on year. APM Terminals suffered a year-on-year decline of 4.1%, processing 1.91 million TEUs in 2015.
