China's Shenzhen container terminals including Yantian, Shekou, Chiwan and Da Chan Bay are set to levy port dues on import and export goods and cargo containers, effective January 1, 2016.
The charge will be RMB40 per TEU for imports and RMB20 per TEU for exports. Based on the container throughput of 24 million TEUs at Shenzhen ports in 2014, the total sum would be added up to RMB480 million.
