The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has stepped up restrictions on trucks and heavy vehicles moving to and from the port of Manila through Manila’s main streets by implementing a truck ban from September 15. There are no restrictions on northbound trucks and those hauling perishables and agricultural produce.

The ban is imposed from 6 to 9 a.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. except on Sundays and holidays.
