Container throughput at Shanghai Port totaled 3.076 million TEUs in June, a slight increase of 0.7% compared to 3.059 million TEUs in the same month last year, or a decline of 2.5% compared to the monthly all-time high of 3.160 million TEUs recorded in the previous month, according to Shanghai International Port (Group) Co.
For the first six months, the world's busiest box port handled 18.03 million TEUs, up 4.5% from the 17.26 million TEUs in the same period in 2014.
