Effective from July 1, 2015, Kenya is introducing a national single window system to streamline importing and exporting processes.
The National Treasury has notified stakeholders for the nation's import and export business including importers, exporters, clearing and forwarding agents, ship agents, government agencies and other users of the Kenya TradeNet System (Kenya National Electronic Single Window System - KNESWS) that piloting of processing the documents has been completed and are ready for full processing through the system. These documents are required to be processed through Kenya TradeNet System.
