A ranking list of the world’s 10 leading container ports was recently made according to throughput in the first half (January-June) of this year. The two most busiest ports remained unchanged from a year earlier, while Hong Kong, which ranked fourth in the first half of 2013, came back to finish in fourth place.

The top 10 container ports are all located in Asia, including seven Chinese ports, while Rotterdam, the largest gateway in Europe, was excluded from the list. The top 10 ports are listed below.
