Vietnam Customs has announced VNACCS/VCIS (Vietnam Automated Cargo And Port Consolidated System), since its inauguration on April 1, 2014, has been operated at over one hundreds of Customs declaration points belonging to 13 local Customs Departments with nearly 300 thousands of declarations. Customs Branch of Hai Phong Customs Department is the leading unit handling the biggest number of declarations.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs held help-desks from the Center to local branches. Some hot lines for VNACCS/VCIS are opened and one special category on VNACCS/VCIS is also established in the Customs e-information Portal.
According to the plan, VNACCS/VCIS is going to be officially deployed at the remaining local Customs Departments. At the end of June 2014, VNACCS / VCIS will be officially operated at all customs branches in the nation.
