Container throughput at Chinese ports posted a 5.3% year-on-year increase to 16.754 million TEUs in April, but dipped 1.1% from the previous month.
Containers handled at seaports amounted to 15.115 million TEUs, up 7.2% from the same month last year while box volume processed at river ports declined 9.2% on year to 1.643 million TEUs in April.
