China ports container movement posted a 5.2 percent year-on-year increase in throughput nationwide to 16.56 million TEUs in January. Seaports handled 14.91 million TEUs of containerized shipments, up 5.3 percent from the same month last year while river ports handled 1.65 million TEUs, up 4.0 percent on year.
