Cargo traffic at South Korea's seaports totaled 111.09 million tons in July, sown 2.8% compared with 114.33 million tons recorded in the same month last year.
Container volumes in the country rose 3.2% from a year earlier to 1.982 million TEUs. Export and import containers declined 2.6% on year to 1.163 million TEUs while transhipment boxes added up to 890,000 TEUs, representing a double-digit increase of 15.8% year on year.
