Cross-strait direct ocean freight traffic between the mainland and Taiwan rose slightly by 0.7% in the first six months of the year, to 30.06 million tons, according to data provided by the China’s Ministry of Transportation.
During the period, cross-strait container volume made a double-digit growth of 13.5% from the same period last year to 978,000 TEUs.
