The port of Shanghai handled 2.827 million TEUs in April, up 3.97% compared with 2.719 million TEUs in 2012, according to statistics unveiled by Shanghai International port (Group) Co (SIPG).
Accumulated box volume processed at the world's busiest container port from January to April stood at 10.629 million TEUs, up 3.7% year on year.
