Member carriers of the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) recently agreed on a guideline for raising freight rates for services bound for the U.S. West Coast by US$400 per FEU and for other destinations by $600 per FEU on May 21, 2013.

They had previously intended to increase rates on May 1.

Figuring out that the balance between supply and demand has improved, they have decided to postpone their plan, hiking spot rates for said services on May 21.
