The Bureau of Customs (BOC) of the Philippines will be implementing its electronic-to-mobile (e2m) Automated Export Documentation System (AEDS) in May in Manila ports and in June for all other ports. The system is designed to make freight transactions more transparent.
The implementation of the AEDS has been postponed since February by the BOC in response to requests from various stakeholders in the export industry.
