China's General Administration of Customs recently has issued a decree which provisionally requires the higher tariff rate of 24.6% on imports from EU nations of iron and steel articles classified HS 73181200, 73181400, 73181500, 73182100 and 73.1822 (including screws, bolts, nuts, etc.). The measure is a retaliation following the EU's extension of anti-dumping tariffs on imports of China-made leather articles.

Imports into China of the same of similar goods from countries other than the EU territory must be attached with the Certificate of Origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce in the origin country.
