Following the warehouse explosion in Tianjin, China on August 12, the State Council of China has called for a thorough inventory of all dangerous goods.
On August 15, Shanghai Customs released an emergency notice that all import and export cargo be labeled both in Chinese and English effective immediately, otherwise it would be detained in Customs custody.
The label must include commodity, UN numbers, ingredients, hazard pictogram and domestic emergency contact.
