10.02.26Announcement on Briefing Sessions on Logistics Research Missions to Brazil and ASEAN

The International Committee sent a mission to Brazil for the first time in October 2009 while the Forwarding Committee mission visited Malaysia and Singapore.

The Brazil mission was the last in a series of the International Committee’s studies on BRICs, starting from India in 2006 followed by Russia in 2007 and eastern China in 2008.

The study tour to Malaysia and Singapore was the last of the Forwarding Committee’s 5-year project to update information on logistics in the ASEAN region following those to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Indonesia.

JIFFA will hold a joint briefing session on the results of the above missions on Thursday, March 25 in Tokyo and on Tuesday March 30, 2010 in Osaka.
