The Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) has recommended its member carriers to implement the following ad-hoc rate restorations:
- US$50 per TEU, effective November 15, 2016 for northbound cargo from Vietnam to Japan;
- US$50 per TEU, effective December 1, 2016 for northbound cargo from Fujian (South China) to Japan; and
- US$100 per TEU, effective December 1, 2016 and again on January 2, 2017 for southbound cargo from all intra-Asia including Japan to Myanmar.
