Shanghai, the world's busiest container port, has posted a 0.7% decline year on year in container throughput in March to 2.94 million TEUs, compared to 2.96 million TEUs in the same period last year, the Shanghai International Port (Group) Co (SIPG) said. Compared to the figure for the previous month, the volume represents a 14.4% surge thanks to a rebound from Spring Festival holidays in February.
